Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

A leading endoscopy center is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide expert anesthesia care starting January 2026 through Summer 2026. This locum tenens role features a consistent weekday schedule with no call responsibilities, allowing for work-life balance. The CRNA will operate independently, managing 10-16 cases per day involving monitored anesthesia care (MAC) in an outpatient setting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide independent anesthesia coverage in a dedicated endoscopy setting.
  • Administer MAC anesthesia and manage a caseload of 10-16 procedures per day.
  • Ensure effective documentation using the EPIC system.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
  • Active Michigan state medical license or willingness to obtain.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
  • Preferably, candidates with a clean malpractice and license history.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • No on-call or weekend responsibilities

Skills

  • Expertise in administering MAC anesthesia.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of cases.
  • Proficiency with the EPIC medical documentation system.
  • Reliable, with strong communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
