Locum - NP​/PA - Emergency Medicine

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is expected to operate autonomously within a designated 10-bed area of the emergency department. Attending physicians will be available 24 hours a day to review cases, provide evaluations, offer guidance, or answer any inquiries as necessary.

• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is mandatory.
• Inclusion of the address at the time of presentation is mandatory.
• The provider must reside locally; no exceptions will be permitted.
• A clean background is required for expedited credentialing; this is non-negotiable.
• Availability must be provided based on the specified dates; this is essential.
• Verbal confirmation of DEA registration is required upon a clean name verification.
• A Michigan State License must be obtained at the time of clearance; no exceptions will be entertained as IMLC applications are not accepted.
• ACLS and ATLS certifications are mandatory.
• The applicant must possess a minimum of two years of recent experience in the emergency department.
