Job Overview
This is a Manager position at a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is the employer, separate from McDonald’s USA. Employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, and scheduling, are handled exclusively by the franchisee. The role is available for employees 18 years or older.
Responsibilities- Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
- Manage assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results.
- In the Guest Service Department Manager role: ensure crews and managers deliver great customer experience, promote sales, train service staff, and organize the Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Through areas.
- In the Kitchen Department Manager role: ensure high‑quality food delivery, fast service, food safety, cost control, and staff training on production procedures including new menu items.
- In the People Department Manager role: hire qualified crew, train them, schedule to meet sales and profit goals, motivate crews, and recognize their contributions.
- Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- $17.00 per hour for open shifts (4am–1am).
- Manager availability starting at $15.00 per hour.
- Annual estimate $15,500–$36,000.
