Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Healthcare Access Control Driver in Lansing, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security‑related incidents. You will remain visible and approachable, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff.

- Assist with access control procedures at the healthcare location to help deter unauthorized entry and/or exit.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying credentials and permissions as required.
- Provide customer service by responding to questions and assisting staff, patients, and visitors with security‑related needs.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and observe potential security‑related concerns.
- Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
- Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security‑related issues and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
