A clean driving record, valid driver license, and a personal vehicle are required for this role.

The applicant will be trained in a variety of locations and will not have a fixed post.

Monday - Sunday / 1st and 2nd shifts (7:00am - 7:30pm)

$20.00/Hour

As a Security Officer at DK Security, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ properties. Your duties will adapt to each contract, providing a diverse and challenging work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Customer Service:
  Serve as a positive reflection of the company by assisting client staff, visitors, and coworkers while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Observe and Report:
  Stay alert and report suspicious activities or incidents.
• Security Presence:
  Maintain a professional appearance and stand guard in building lobbies, reception areas, control centers, etc.
• Security Officer:
  Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols as required.
• Access Control:
  Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas, check IDs, and follow proper procedures.
• Safety Patrol:
  Enforce policies and procedures of the assigned location and report any safety concerns.
• Emergency Response:
  Be ready to assist in emergencies, including administering CPR/First Aid/AED care and communicating with emergency personnel.
• Security Liaison:
  Communicate professionally with client staff, follow through on client requests, and update the site supervisor/operations manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years old and have at least a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must pass a drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter.
• Must not have been convicted of any felonies or misdemeanors involving dishonesty, fraud, impersonation of law enforcement, assault, weapons, unauthorized sale of information, controlled substances, or alcohol-related offenses.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for 8–12 hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. (70 lbs. for armed work).
• Must be CPR, First Aid, and AED certified (Child, Infant, Adult) or willing to become certified and capable of administering lifesaving care.
• Must have clear vision (20‑foot vision, with glasses or contacts if needed) and hearing in loud environments.
• Must use a smart mobile phone or computer for emails and online training.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and personal integrity with a positive attitude.
• Must complete required trainings on time and adhere to all client and company policies.

Employees on active disciplinary probation, those previously removed from a contract, or those who were on disciplinary probation at separation are not eligible for this position.
