Join the award-winning team at Superior Services R.S.H., Inc., Michigan’s #1 Duro-Last roofing installer, as a Commercial Roofing Assistant Service Technician
. As a Commercial Roofing Assistant Service Technician, you will work directly with a Service Technician to resolve roof related defects. On the job training will be provided. No prior roofing experience is required — just a commitment to showing up, learning the craft, and growing with the team.

• Work side-by-side with an experienced Service Technician to learn the trade through real-world, on-the-job training
• Assist in performing inspections, leak investigations, repairs, and preventive maintenance on commercial flat roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, BUR, and Modified Bitumen)
• Support tool and material setup, clean-up, and daily organization of the service vehicle and job site
• Learn how to document service findings, communicate with clients, and follow proper safety protocols
• Gain hands-on experience with roofing tools, sealants, flashing, membrane systems, and more
• Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and manufacturer certification opportunities
• Grow your knowledge and skillset with the goal of becoming a lead Service Technician with your own assigned service truck

• A strong desire to build a career in the commercial roofing industry
• Willingness to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment and in various weather conditions
• Basic experience with hand and power tools (preferred, but not required)
• Dependable, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
• Eagerness to learn, take direction, and grow into a leadership role
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and follow safety procedures
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time, On-call

Pay: $17 to $20 an hour

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday through Friday, Weekends as Needed

Work Location: On the road, based out of the Lansing, MI area
