Experienced Residential Construction HVAC Installer

Overview

Experienced Residential New Construction HVAC Installer role at A-1 Mechanical of Michigan. The ideal candidate has a strong background in installation of HVAC systems and their required accessories, demonstrating expertise in quality standards and mechanical code requirements.

• Perform installation of HVAC equipment, gas piping, flex and sheet metal duct systems, copper refrigerant lines, and wiring to both low and line voltage for heating and cooling equipment.
• Execute brazing and soldering of copper refrigerant lines with precision and care.
• Manage inventory on company vehicles, ensuring all parts are stocked and organized.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with company representatives, adhering to builders schedules and providing clear explanations.
• Complete all paperwork accurately at the end of each day.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and protocols.

• 3 years of HVAC experience.
• Must hold a current EPA Certification.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a commitment to excellent customer service.
• Valid driver s license with no major driving infractions for 4+ years.
• Must be able to pass a physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work weekends, late nights, and overtime as needed.

• Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and demeanor, with a focus on maintaining industry certifications through ongoing training.
• Excellent problem solving skills.

• Paying up to $35.00 per hour, with variations based on experience.
