Position Overview
Equipment Operator is responsible for controlling and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency on construction sites.

- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
- Follow safety protocols and participate in weekly safety meetings.
- Load and unload materials or equipment as required.
- Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and incidents to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
- Report to assigned job site in proper work attire and ready to begin work at designated start time.
- Wear PPE: steel‑toed footwear, safety glasses.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience operating or working around heavy equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- CDL preferred.
- Must pass pre‑employment screening and testing.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements, procedures, and PPE policies.
Construction site in extreme weather, extended hours. Exposure to noise, dirt, grease, dust, heavy equipment, moving machinery, materials such as oil, grease, gasoline, diesel fuel, asphalt, concrete. Requires walking, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Flexible schedule.
