Job Summary:Provide basic construction skills for residents and businesses in Lansing and the surrounding area.Effectively communicate with clients and suppliers.Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues, and present a description of a work order to a customer.Determine and clearly identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects.Skilled in at least three (3) of the following areas:General Carpentry - Rough and FinishBathroom Upgrades/RemodelKitchen Refresh/RemodelPainting - Interior and ExteriorDrywall Repair/Patching/CaulkingMinor Plumbing and Minor Electrical KnowledgeFlooring Repair and InstallationHandyman and General Home RepairsJob Requirements:Competency in general building tradesMaterial managementKnowledge of building codesEffective problem-solving for homeowners and exceeding their expectationsCollaboration with other highly skilled craftsmenAttention to detailGood organization and effective customer communicationFollow safety standards - because shortcuts aren't worth the risk!Represent our company with professionalism and pride on every jobIndependent contractors must carry liability insurance and workers compValid driver's licenseYour own tools, vehicle, and referencesYour own smart phone and Internet accessMust be comfortable working with laddersMust be located within 30 miles of the Lansing areaIf you're serious about earning between $800 and $1,200 a week, we're serious about helping you get there!
