Remodeling Technician II​/Carpenter II

We're a young residential renovation company that's growing fast. We currently have several thousand hours of work lined up throughout the winter. Most of our projects are in the Lansing area. We take on everything from small repairs to multi-month whole-home renovations, with quality requirements ranging from builder-grade jobs to high-end remodels. We need skilled people who want to grow with us.

• Work across a full range of renovation trades: demo, framing, insulation, drywall, paint, trim and finish carpentry, millwork, cabinets, countertops, windows and doors, flooring, tile, masonry, siding, and decks
• Run a scope of work on your own or work alongside the crew
• Pitch in on cleanup and moving materials. Everyone here helps, owners included
• Keep learning. We care about training and doing things the right way

• 2+ years of residential remodeling or construction experience across multiple trades
• Able to work independently and take pride in quality work
• Your own power tools and hand tools (we provide compressors and large equipment)
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel outside Lansing when needed
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, in tight spaces, and in all weather
• Respectful and professional in clients' homes
• Able to pass a background check (criminal history and sex offender registry)

• $23–$27/hr based on experience, paid weekly
• Room to move up quickly, with reviews and raise opportunities at 30 and 90 days
• Steady, year-round work
• Prevailing wage pay on occasional prevailing wage projects
• OSHA 10 paid for if you don't have it
• Paid sick time and 6 paid holidays
• Flexible scheduling when you need time off
• Safety gear provided, a $300 up-front tool stipend, and $100 toward work boots anytime you need them

Typically 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. Start times vary by job, but we aim for a steady 8-hour day.
