DTS is looking for experienced Service Now Architect for a direct client position in Lansing, MI

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Service Now Architect to lead the design, architecture, implementation, and optimization of Service Now solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Service Now platform, enterprise architecture, integrations, ITSM, and related Service Now modules.

Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performing Service Now solutions aligned with business and technical requirements. Define the overall Service Now architecture, technical standards, design patterns, and best practices. Lead Service Now implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and platform modernization initiatives. Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and technical teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Provide technical leadership and guidance to Service Now developers and administrators.

Design and oversee integrations between Service Now and enterprise applications using REST, SOAP, APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server, and web services. Develop and maintain Service Now data models, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and scripting standards. Provide architecture and technical guidance across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, HRSD, Sec Ops, and CMDB as required. Design and maintain a robust CMDB, including CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Configuration Item relationships.

Ensure Service Now solutions follow security, governance, performance, scalability, and maintainability standards. Evaluate new Service Now features and capabilities and recommend improvements to existing solutions. Lead technical reviews, architecture assessments, code reviews, and solution design sessions. Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and implementation plans. Troubleshoot complex platform, integration, performance, and configuration issues. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application development, and enterprise architecture teams.

Support Service Now upgrades, release management, testing, deployment, and production support activities. Required

Skills & Qualifications 8+ years of experience working with the Service Now platform, with significant experience in an architecture or technical leadership role. Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Service Now solutions. Deep knowledge of Service Now ITSM and familiarity with ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, CSM, HRSD, or Sec Ops. Strong knowledge of Service Now scripting, including JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.

Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server, and third-party integrations. Strong understanding of CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping.

Experience with Service Now governance, architecture standards, security, performance optimization, and platform best practices. Experience leading technical teams and working with business and technical stakeholders. Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification. Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification. Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications. Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) is a plus.

Experience with Service Now HAM, SAM, Sec Ops, ITOM, CSM, or HRSD.

Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD, source control, and automated deployment practices.
