Application Infrastructure Engineer (Software Developer)

Lansing, MI (Hybrid)

We're looking for an Application Infrastructure Engineer to support the tools and platforms that enable software development and application delivery. This role combines infrastructure, automation, and software engineering while partnering with developers, security teams, and IT operations.

Responsibilities:

• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Maintain application infrastructure across Linux, Windows, and containerized environments.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Support tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes/Open Shift, Bitbucket, Kafka, and monitoring platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to deliver reliable and secure applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Exposure to object-oriented programming (Java or Groovy preferred).
• Experience or interest in automation, Dev Ops, CI/CD, cloud technologies, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
