CATA CDL Lift Shuttle Driver

Overview

We are looking for an experienced shuttle driver in Lansing, Michigan. You will ensure safe and comfortable transportation for passengers, upholding professional standards and customer service.

• Safety-Focused Operations:
  Follow designated routes and schedules, adhere to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Passenger Care:
  Assist passengers, ensure smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
• Vehicle Vigilance:
  Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance issues, and maintain cleanliness and safety equipment readiness.
• Adherence to Protocols:
  Follow company policies, including seat belt enforcement, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required

• 21 years or older
• Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and airbrake endorsement
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Availability to work day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts as assigned
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable; DOT 49 CFR Part 40 compliance

• Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed
• Ability to sit for long periods and work at a computer or similar tasks as needed
• Work environment may be indoors or outdoors

• Pay: $20.00/hr
• Benefits:
  Vacation up to 14 days/year;
  Paid Sick Leave (6 hours monthly full-time, 3 hours monthly part-time), medical, dental & vision after 90 days for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k, and company holidays
