JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Quality Inspector in Lapeer, MI. Our client is a leading manufacturer in the plastic injection molding industry, producing high-quality automotive components for major OEMs. The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing inspections, measurements, and quality checks on molded parts to ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.

Responsibilities of a Quality Inspector include:

• Inspect plastic injection molded components for defects and dimensional accuracy.

• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.

• Document and report inspection results to production and quality teams.

• Maintain inspection records for audits and quality tracking.

• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconforming products.

• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Job Requirements of a Quality Inspector:

• Previous experience in quality inspection within plastic injection molding manufacturing.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects quickly.

• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

• Minimum 1 year of quality inspection experience in manufacturing (plastic injection experience preferred).
