Hydromat​/Tornos Machine Support- 2nd Shift

Lapeer area high precision, high volume machining company is looking for an entry-level Hydromat/Tornos Machine Floor Support member to join their team. This is an automotive parts manufacturing facility. Pay is based on experience, $15-16 per hour. 2nd Shift 4:30PM - 3:00AM;
Monday-Saturday, overtime is mandatory. This is a great role for someone looking to learn new skills and work their way into machine operation and machine maintenance.

Perform support duties to the machine operators in the Hydromat and Tornos machine departments.

• Heavily focused on keeping the areas in the department clean and in operational order.
• Mopping, emptying buckets, keeping area free of debris.
• Assist machine operators in maintaining organized work area.
• Learn and assist with preventative machine maintenance.

• Some manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Comfortable using tools and cleaning equipment/supplies; area may be greasy/oily at times.
• Motivation, good attitude and willingness to learn new skills which may lead to advancement.
• HSD/GED.
• Steel-toed boots required.
