American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN
- Operating Room Circulator with 2+ years OR experience and hip/joint/knee experience required for a Days position requiring an active MI license.
- Operating Room setting performing more than 8,000 surgical and endoscopy procedures annually across general elective and critical/life-saving specialties
- Days shift schedule combining two 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) and two 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:30 PM) per week
- On-call requirement of three 12-hour call shifts within a 28-day schedule (Sunday through Saturday)
- Call shifts run 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
- Active MI RN license required at time of consideration
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of RN Operating Room experience required
- Experience with hip, joint, and knee procedures required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Function as a circulating nurse, monitoring the surgical procedure and ensuring patient health and safety throughout the operation
- Work alongside certified anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialized OR technicians as part of the surgical team
- No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed during the assignment
- Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers and subject to a reduced travel rate
