Responsibilities
  • Demonstrating a friendly, positive attitude and delivering excellent customer service
  • Taking orders over the phone and in person

  • Making Domino’s high-quality pizzas
  • Food and portion control
  • Hygiene and food safety
  • Food preparation
  • General cleaning duties

Additional general job duties include:

  • Operate all equipment
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler
  • Prepare product
  • Receive and process telephone orders
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
  • Clean equipment and facility daily
Communication & Skills
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders
Essential Functions / Skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use a calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Eye–hand coordination to perform precise movements with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Work Conditions
  • Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks
  • In-store temperatures range from 36°F (cooler) to 90°F and above in some areas
  • Sudden changes in temperature in work areas and outside
  • Fumes from food odors
  • Exposure to cornmeal dust
  • Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler
  • Hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500°F or higher
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts
Sensing & Temperaments
  • Talking and hearing on telephone
  • Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
  • Depth perception
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
  • Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments
Physical Requirements

Standing:
Most tasks are performed from a standing position.

  • Walking:
    For short distances and durations
  • Lifting:
    Deliveries may weigh up to 50 pounds; cases may be up to 3' x 1.5'
  • Carrying:
    Large cans weighing ~3 lb 7 oz; pizza sauce up to 30 lb; trays of dough ~12 lb per tray
  • Pushing:
    Move trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 pounds
  • Climbing:
    Occasional stairs or ladders for signs, walls, or maintenance
  • Stooping/Bending:
    Occasional; front counter and ingredients stocking
  • Crouching/Squatting:
    Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas
  • Reaching:
    Continuous up, down, and forward
  • Hand tasks:
    Eye–hand coordination essential; frequent use of hands
