At OnPath Credit Union, we share a passion for delivering exceptional service. Our Mortgage Department is looking for an Empower System Administrator to join our team! The salary range for this position is $96,137.75 to $ based on skills and experience. This position is classified as Remote.
SCOPEAs a dedicated member of the OnPath FCU team, this role performs a variety of tasks that, in partnership with surrounding departments, provide cost‑effective financial services for the benefit of our members who are our primary focus. Responsibilities- Provide dedicated support for the loan origination system and manage related critical initiatives.
- Perform day‑to‑day administrative functions for Empower while following best practices for security and system management.
- Analyze system configuration and provide recommendations for optimization and adherence to best practice and established development standards.
- Act as the requirements subject‑matter expert throughout the solution development lifecycle, owning the requirements artifacts produced.
- Perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies, procedures, and all applicable U.S. federal and state laws and regulations.
- Configure Empower to ensure optimal system performance and resolve issues efficiently.
- Gather, document, and track business requirements; formulate use cases and maintain status reports.
- Coordinate with internal business partners for updates and customizations.
- Analyze software upgrades and assess impacts before implementation.
- Address system changes and procedure updates with Operations and other required internal teams.
- Build and maintain technical relationships with internal and external teams.
- Communicate technical proposals clearly to team members and management.
- Develop and maintain Empower documentation for development standards, processes, and procedures.
Five to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
Education / Certifications / LicensesA college degree. Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems or analytical techniques preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Interpersonal SkillsThe ability to motivate or influence senior‑level professionals is critical. Obtaining cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via complex, senior‑level dialogues, as well as professional written communication skills, are essential.
Other Skills- Five or more years of Empower system administration experience (configuration, testing, triage, release management with Empower SaaS application).

- Task/exception‑based workflow knowledge preferred

- Familiarity with Empower integrations to external systems.
- Strong working knowledge of mortgage and consumer (home equity) loan manufacturing processes from origination to post‑closing.
- Knowledge of business analysis process and definition of software requirements; familiarity with relational database and client‑server concepts.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office technical skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into configuration specifications.
- Ability to understand complex problems and collaborate on alternative solutions.
- Decision‑making skills that significantly impact departmental credibility, operations, and services.
- Adaptability to evolving business priorities and direction.
- Experience working independently on large, complex projects that built or enhanced production systems.
