ResponsibilitiesLeads and develops teams by teaching training, actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations and utilizes technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, provides clear expectations and guidance, and implements business solutions. Manages customer service initiatives, resolves customer complaints, and leads process improvement initiatives.
Drives financial performance by reviewing PL statements, managing budget, forecasting and controlling expenses. Ensures merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes comply with business objectives. Provides supervision, hiring, training, mentorship, and recognition for hourly associates. Builds accountability and measures progress in achieving results through continuous improvement and learning. Promotes a culture of belonging, respect, integrity, and continuous learning. Meets compliance with company policies and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Minimum: 2 years of college, or 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience, or 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience; firearms-trained facilities require CBC and Firearms Authorized Training; ammunition outlets may require a state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility.
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U or Bellevue University; certificate of completion in People and Business Leadership; at least 5 direct reports with performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing experience.
