• Install, repair, and maintain commercial and residential hardware.
• Perform safe and card access work.
• Install, repair, and maintain access control hardware.
• Modify hardware for locks.
• Create and maintain master key systems.
• Re‑key residential & commercial locks and perform pinning.
• Interpret written, diagram or schedule instructions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot a variety of situations.
• Clean, maintain, adjust, calibrate and service equipment.
• Read operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and commercial clients.
• Perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Cut keys by code.
• Receive verbal instructions from management or clients.
• Complete and submit paperwork accurately and on time.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in technical hands‑on locksmithing, access control, door hardware, and related trades.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with a diverse customer base.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work safely on ladders.
• Access to a vehicle and ability to drive in compliance with company policy.
• Commitment to providing timely and accurate customer service.
• Proactive in determining required services and responding to customer inquiries.

• Fluently understand, speak, and write English.
• Push, pull, and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Shovel, kneel, crouch, and stoop as needed.
• Reach above and below shoulder height.
• Use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, and pull.
• Climb ladders and work above ground.
• Endure external weather conditions year‑round.
