HVAC JR. Mechanic

• Assist in the servicing of products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Use a variety of hand‑tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer’s location.
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
• Prepare for on‑site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on‑site work as necessary.
• Inspect vehicles by checking condition and cleanliness.
• Maintain vehicles by keeping records of service, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance.
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear and notify the customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
• Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
• Serve as a direct customer contact on behalf of the company.
• Determine parts to order for repairs and the timeliness of need.
• Record parts, material, labor, subs and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources.
• Turn in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
• Keep current on all products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair.
• Read and interpret product specifications.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Have a strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
• Be flexible to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Accept regular travel requirements with some overnight travel, as needed.
