Thepositionisresponsibleforevaluatingexistingprocessesandconfiguringmanufacturingsystemstoreducecosts,improve sustainability,andincreaseefficiency.

Thispositionwillbeinvolvedinrawmixdesign,plantsystemoptimization,designing/&modifying equipment,installingcontrolsystems,andupgradingprocesses;allwithhealth,safetyandenvironmentalimpactsbeingofsignificantconcern.

Thispositionwillalsobeprojectorientated,workingonanumberofprojectsatvariousstagesofcompletionwhileworkingdirectlywithbothengineeringcompaniesandplantpersonnel.

Engineermustpossessinclude:

• Abilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesinacontinuous-processmanufacturingenvironment
• Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills
• Abilitytoworkeffectivelywithoperations,maintenance,engineering,contractors,and vendors
• Highdegreeofaccuracyandattentiontodetail.
• Theabilitytoprovidetechnicalsupportduringshutdowns,outages,equipment failures,andotheroperationalemergencies,whichmayoccasionallyrequireworkoutsidenormalbusinesshours.
• Abilitytoworkoutdoorsindemandingphysicalconditionsincludingwalkingoverroughandunevensurfaces,climbingladdersupto
  20feetandstairs,bending,pushing,pulling,andworkinginawkwardpositions,workinginconfinedspaces,liftingandcarryingupto
  50pounds.

The Process Engineer is a front line employee accountable for managing MCC's process improvements through process measurements to optimize the process equipment capacity. This individual’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Evaluateandimproveplantprocessestoincreasereliability,improveproductionrates,increase efficiencies,andreducecosts
• Troubleshootplantprocessissues
• Developinnovativesolutionstoproblems
• Developandimplementsystemsthatoptimizeplantsystems
• Providesuggestionsduringincidentinvestigations
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures
• Ensureprojectsarecompletedontimeandwithinbudgetrange
• Workcloselywithstafftoselectmostappropriateprocessimprovementtechniques
• Workwithmulti-functionalteamtoachievegoals
• Analyzeprocessproblemstomakecontinuousandpermanentimprovements
• Ensurethatallaspectsofoperationorprocessmeetspecifiedregulations
• Conducttestingonsystemsforefficiencyandaccuracyinordertorecommendshorttermandlongtermimprovements
• Assistwithtrainingofnewcontrolroomoperators
• Fillinassupervisorandprovideproductiondepartmenton-callcoverageasrequired
• Preformplantsystemaudits
