Wyoming Conservation Corps - Crew Member, Ameri Corps
Job Purpose
Participate and engage in conservation projects across the state of Wyoming.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Term of Service:
May‑August - Living Stipend: $4,800.00
- Segal Education Award: $1,956.35
- Work in teams of six members with two crew leaders.
- Complete six, ten‑day conservation projects across Wyoming, along with one week of orientation before first project.
- Responsibilities include camping, cooking, task completion, environmental education, group learning, camp chores.
- Projects include trail maintenance, habitat restoration, development reclamation, construction, scientific survey, and various agricultural projects.
- Required hourly commitment during term of service.
- Enroll in one upper‑division credit WCC class through University of Wyoming.
- Complete required trainings, including a 16‑hour Wilderness First Aid course (free).
- Drug and alcohol free, zero tolerance.
- Supervised by WCC staff.
Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED - Experience:
None - Other requirements:
Pass FBI background check; ability to lift 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
