An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced nurse to join the Arthroplasty Service at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
Responsibilities- Manage practitioner‑led clinics for the review of patients with hip, knee, shoulder and elbow replacements.
- Run a practitioner‑led pre‑operative education clinic.
- Provide telephone advice and support to patients, carers and other health professionals.
- Collect and analyse data, conduct audits and present information to various groups in an agreed format.
- NMC registered nurse.
- Current knowledge and experience in orthopaedics.
- Ability to work independently with strong communication and organisational skills.
- Desirable: ACE course completion and X‑ray interpretation skills (training provided).
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week, with a proportional increase in hourly rate to maintain pay.
PVG Scheme membership is required; the candidate must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
