** Job Description
**** Job Summary
** Assist the department with a variety of backstage tasks.  
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Assist with moving, setting up, and testing lighting.
* Assist with sound, props, and performing a variety of backstage tasks.
* Assist performers and wardrobe changes and other miscellaneous tasks.  This document represents the major duties, responsibilities, and authorities of this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and functions. Other duties may be assigned.  
** Minimum Requirements
*** Education – High School Diploma or GED.
* Experience – Some stagehand experience required.
* May not be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at Texas A&M International University.  Knowledge of:
* Word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
* Audio & Visual equipment  Ability to:
* Multitask and work cooperatively with others.
* Verbal and written communication skills.
* Be able to work under time sensitive constraints.

** Other Requirements
*** Position requires face-to-face interactions on campus.
* Position requires maintaining a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.
* Position requires working evening and/or weekends hours.
* Position requires keeping a work schedule of 19 hours per week.  
** Pay of Rate**: $15.00/hour for up to 19 hours weekly
