The Tariff Classifier is responsible for accurately determining the tariff classification of merchandise in compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, ensuring proper documentation and regulatory compliance for import and export operations.

• Analyze merchandise descriptions to determine correct tariff (HTS) classification
• Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents
• Ensure compliance with U.S. customs regulations and trade laws
• Support customs entry processes with accurate classification data
• Maintain organized and updated classification records
• Collaborate with operations and compliance teams

• Experience in tariff classification or customs brokerage (preferred)
• Knowledge of HTSUS and basic U.S. customs regulations
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
