Compensation: $115,000-$140,000
A construction firm has been awarded a multi-year federal design-build contract for a large-scale infrastructure project in the Laredo, TX area, encompassing barrier construction spanning 60+ miles, boat ramp construction, patrol road repair and construction, bridge construction, and electrical/lighting/ground detection system installation. The company is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee quality assurance across this multi-year effort. Candidates must be willing to travel to and live around the Laredo, TX area.
Whatyou'll do
- Serve as Quality Control Manager (QCM/CQC Manager) overseeing quality control for a large federal design-build construction project
- Manage three-phase control processes across all project activities
- Oversee submittals, inspections, and testing procedures
- Track and resolve deficiencies throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate closely with government representatives and agencies on quality matters
- Minimum 10 years of construction quality-control experience
- Experience on at least two federal design-build projects
- Must have served as QCM/CQC Manager on at least two projects valued at $10 million or more each
- Experience with three-phase control, submittals, inspections, testing, deficiency tracking, and government coordination
- Willingness to travel to and live around the Laredo, TX area
- Strong heavy-civil experience preferred
- Salary range: $115,000-$140,000
