Compensation: $105,000–$135,000
A construction firm has been awarded a multi-year, large-scale infrastructure contract in the Laredo, TX area, encompassing more than 60 miles of linear construction work including road repair and construction, boat ramp construction, bridge construction, and electrical, lighting, and ground detection system installation. The company is seeking a Field Superintendent / Assistant Superintendent to help oversee daily field operations across this geographically dispersed, multi-year project.
Whatyou'll do
- Supervise multiple crews and subcontractors across a large, linear construction project
- Read and interpret plans and specifications to guide daily production
- Coordinate sequencing, safety, and quality requirements across the project
- Oversee field activities related to earthwork, roadway construction, drainage, concrete, structures, and utilities
- Travel to and live in the Laredo, TX area for the duration of the assignment
- Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible construction field supervision experience
- Experience supervising multiple crews and subcontractors
- Ability to read plans and specifications and coordinate daily production, sequencing, safety, and quality requirements
- Resume must clearly identify project type, role, project value, delivery method, and federal agency where applicable
- 3–5 years of heavy-civil or linear infrastructure experience preferred
- Strong background in earthwork, roadway construction, drainage, concrete, structures, utilities, and heavy-equipment operations preferred
- Federal and design-build experience preferred but not required
- Salary range: $105,000–$135,000
