Chief Anesthesiologist

Sound Physicians is seeking a Chief Anesthesiologist to join their team at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas. Practice Info

• Join our close-knit team of 4 physicians and 10 CRNAs at Laredo Medical Center
• The facility runs seven points of service per day in addition to two OB suites

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthetic care as part of a collaborative team of physicians and CRNAs
• Provide support for Level III trauma center cases
• Cover a wide range of specialties, including general surgery, GI/endoscopy, ENT, robotics, orthopedics, minor vascular, neurology, urology, and minimal healthy pediatric cases

Compensation

• Base yearly salary: $525,000
• Chief stipend: $50,000
• Strong commencement bonus offered

Shift & Schedule

• 26 weeks a year (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off)
• Mon-Fri 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Nights + weekends: backup pager call

Qualifications

• Board Certified/eligible in anesthesia
• Leadership experience preferred
• Authorized to work in the United States
