Texas OBGYN Locum Tenens Coverage

Overview

A hospital in Texas is seeking an OB/GYN to provide continuous locum tenens coverage with a combination of call, inpatient care, and limited clinic responsibilities. In this assignment, you will cover 24-hour OB/GYN call from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., supporting both unreferred and referred obstetric cases. You will also be available to first assist a community OB/GYN in the operating room as needed and manage inpatient and emergency department consults.

In addition to call coverage, you will hold clinic availability three times per week for half-day sessions, seeing follow-up patients who present without prior referral. This opportunity is well suited for OB/GYNs who are comfortable with comprehensive hospital-based coverage while maintaining a small outpatient component.
