Overview

Substance Use Counselor
. Our programs provide outpatient substance use counseling services to adults with substance use issues.
Hours:
7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Please note this position is grant funded and ongoing employment is dependent upon future funding. This position may end 09/26.
Qualifications- LCDC/LCDC Intern in Texas and previous experience counseling in the substance use field preferred.
- Valid Texas Driver License and clear driving record.
- Drug screen and background check required.
- Ability to professionally communicate, maintain calm in tense situations, organize, write well for client documentation, and build rapport with clients to inspire confidence and leadership skills by demonstrating it yourself.
- Ability to respond appropriately in an emergency or crisis.
