Job Summary
The Quality Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the organization's data-driven decision-making process. This role contributes to the analysis and interpretation of complex healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that improve patient care, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. This role will work closely with senior analysts and business stakeholders across various departments to provide data-driven recommendations and support data-related projects.

- Gathers, cleans, and prepares data from various sources (e.g., Electronic Medical Records (EMR), regulatory databases, internal quality tools) to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Conducts descriptive and exploratory analyses using statistical and analytical techniques to identify performance trends and quality improvement opportunities.
- Writes and executes SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for analysis and reporting.
- Develops and delivers recurring and ad hoc reports summarizing performance indicators, quality metrics, and regulatory outcomes.
- Creates clear and effective data visualizations (e.g., dashboards, charts, graphs) to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams (e.g., clinicians, administrators, IT) to answer data-related questions, support audits, and resolve data quality concerns.
- Supports enterprise quality improvement and patient safety initiatives by providing data analysis and insight to inform decision-making.
- Assists senior analysts with complex projects by contributing to data preparation, trend identification, and results interpretation.
- Manages multiple assignments with attention to detail, deadlines, and changing priorities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in a clinical discipline required or
- Four (4) plus years of direct experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree required
- 1-3 years of experience in data analytics, healthcare operations, program management, or relevant support services required
Skills And Abilities
- Working knowledge of clinical workflows, healthcare operations, and quality improvement concepts.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and query languages (e.g., SQL, Excel, or equivalent).
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and familiarity with healthcare datasets.
- Ability to create clear, accurate, and visually compelling reports and dashboards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
