Job Description Department Manager manage the department and leads the team to achieving flawless operational execution, developing a strong and reliable team infrastructure, technical expertise, knowledgeable and promo table personnel while constantly driving efficiency, profitability and growth contributing our Vision and Mission Statement, making our promise real to all our employees and customers.

Key Deliverables
• Proactively monitor key metrics to achieve expected results, department excellence above 90%:

People

Timely & Valuable Performance Reviews every 12 months and 1:1s every 3 months.

Team members to complete mandatory and 52-hrs. training per year/4.33 per month.

Operational Excellence

Operational performance KPI above 90%.Product OPA Audit Result.

Finance
- Relentless Pursuit of Efficiency driving capacity, productivity (Increase SPP & Reduce EPS).OIBB Growth – 10% increase year over year and Ratio R:

E = 2:1 Minimum.

Increase department Shipment Count - 10% year over year.

A/R within terms – 100% of A/R within 30 days of customers’ credit terms.

Reserves
- No Reserves (A/R, Provisions, Intercompany).Reduce EPS (Expense per Shipment).Customers Revenue Growth – 10% increase year over year.
5% revenue diversification (New Business).5% of New Revenue every year (New Logo).Customer Loyalty – Business reviews every 3 months score 100%.Customer Meetings – At least 8 face to face meetings per month.

Engage with team members daily, conduct check-in meetings regularly assisting them with ongoing feedback, coaching and  visionary as it relates to managing staff, processes and tools to be able to handle volume spikes, growth locally or supporting other branches.

Define and establish a structure to cover operational needs of the dept., considering future growth.

Own your self-development. Prepare, follow-up and execute on your personal development goals.

Build healthy cross-functional relationship and work environment, promote team spirit and cohesiveness in the department.

Ensure that company controls, policies, procedures, processes are understood and complied with.
