Fabrication Technician - First Shift

Job Description
* The Fabrication Technician is responsible for producing, assembling, and finishing material components according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring high-quality fabrication, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Accountabilities
* Interpret and work from blueprint, technical drawings, and work orders.
* Set up and operate fabrication equipment (e.g., saws, presses, CNC machines, welding equipment, or cutting tools).
* Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials to precise specifications.
* Perform welding, grinding, drilling, and finishing tasks as required.
* Inspect fabricated components to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances.
* Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment; report or escalate equipment issues.
* Maintain sound safety practices and follow all safety regulations.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve fabrication or design issues.

Qualifications/Requirements
* High school diploma or GED
* 1-3 years of fabrication, machining, or manufacturing experience
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
* Proficient with fabrication tools and machinery
* Basic math and measurement skills
