Job Summary:
The Senior Product Marketing Leader for Food & Beverage is responsible for setting and driving the overall marketing strategy for Certified Group's Food & Beverage division, encompassing chemistry and microbiology services. This role has full ownership of Product Marketing and Marketing Communications, ensuring tight alignment between portfolio strategy, positioning, messaging, gotomarket execution, and demand activation. The role will build, lead, and develop a high performing marketing organization that translates Certified Group's technical expertise into clear customer value, strong differentiation, and profitable growth.
As a senior commercial leader, this individual partners closely with Sales, Operations, Technical, Finance, and Quality teams to define growth priorities, enable the commercial organization, and ensure consistent execution across all customer touchpoints.
Essential Responsibilities:
Marketing, Portfolio, & Growth Strategy:- Own and define the Food & Beverage marketing vision and strategy, aligned with divisional and enterprise growth objectives
- Develop and maintain a multiyear product and services portfolio roadmap, balancing innovation, margin, and customer demand
- Lead market segmentation and prioritization across key F&B categories (e.g., dairy, bakery, meat & poultry, pet food, nutrition, contaminants)
- Establish clear value propositions, positioning, and messaging frameworks that differentiate Certified Group in the marketplace
- Build, lead, and develop an integrated Product Marketing and Marketing Communications team
- Set clear priorities, goals, and success metrics across both functions
- Coach and develop team members to strengthen strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and execution excellence
- Foster strong collaboration between marketing, sales, operations, and technical teams
- Manage the process of cost/ price analysis and development of large proposals, bids or Request for Proposals (RFP) to profitable new business opportunities and minimize attrition
- Develop and implement pricing structures for new and existing Chemistry and Microbiology service by analyzing competitive intelligence, cost analysis, market conditions, and business objectives that maximize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.
- Manage and create annual price catalog & customer price review which will be used to update pricing databases and systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage annual price increases to ensure margin growth while maintaining market competitive position
- Lead the harmonization of catalog pricing for Chemistry and Microbiology services.
- Work closely with the finance teams to ensure pricing and profitability strategies align with the financial goals and targets.
- Analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to identify pricing opportunities and risks.
- Lead the endtoend gotomarket strategy for new services, methods, portfolio updates, and priority growth initiatives
- Ensure Marketing Communications translates product strategy into effective campaigns, sales tools, content, and field enablement
- Partner with Sales leadership to deliver clear narratives, playbooks, training, and value based selling tools
- Oversee development of segment specific commercial playbooks and launch plans
- Direct oversight of all Marketing Communications activities, including messaging, campaigns, collateral, thought leadership, and digital presence
