Our communications professionals have strong writing, editing, and analytical skills as well as the ability to successfully pitch stories to the media. Key Responsibilities:Media Relations
- Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and briefing materials
- Support the development and maintenance of relationships with journalists and media contacts
- Monitor media coverage, compile reports, and assist with analysis of public sentiment
- Write, edit, and proofread content for websites, articles, blogs, newsletters, and social media platforms
- Assist in creating engaging visuals and multimedia content to support client and Firm communications
- Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with brand and communications objectives
- Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns across multiple platforms
- Monitor social media channels, track engagement, and report on performance metrics
- Assist with day-to-day social media initiatives
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Political Science, or a related field
- 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in communications, public relations, or media-related roles
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences and platforms
- Working knowledge of media relations, including press outreach and media monitoring
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with social media platforms, digital communications tools, analytics, and familiarity with generative AI tools
