• Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, initiating relevant diagnostic measures, and developing personalized treatment strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, collaboratively with physicians or independently as credentialed
• Providing education to patients and their families on wellness, disease prevention, and effective health management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies following your scope of practice
• Incorporating follow-up and chronic care management into your patient care approach
• Working seamlessly within interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, holistic patient care
• Maintaining precise and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a related specialty
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
