Host​/Door

This position requires the Hostess to greet guests at the door, seat and present clean menus to guests in a friendly, professional, and quick manner. It also requires the Host to interact with, entertain, and provide best-in-class service and hospitality to every Ojos Locos guest.

• Adhering to all image and costume guidelines
• Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of specials and soups.
• Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction and always strives to exceed their expectations.
• Takes names on a waiting list.
• Runs the floor plan board.
• Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables.
• Takes guest information and quotes wait times accurately when tables are not immediately available.
• Cleans, organizes, and stocks menus at the host area.
• Answers phone calls and questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
• Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Fills to-go orders, if applicable.
• Sweeps the foyer and front entrance area frequently.
• Performs other duties as directed.
