La Posada Hotel, is seeking a hardworking and reliable Utility Dishwasher to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of our kitchen and dining operations. This role is essential to maintaining a sanitary and efficient environment that supports the success of our food and beverage team. • Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including dishwashing stations, storage areas, and trash disposal areas.
• Ensure proper disposal of garbage and recycling, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
• Restock clean kitchenware and equipment in designated locations for efficient use by kitchen staff.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, notifying management of replenishment needs.
• Assist with basic kitchen duties as needed, such as food preparation or stocking supplies.
• Perform regular deep cleaning of dishwashing equipment and kitchen surfaces.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Work closely with the culinary and service teams to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.

• No formal education required; a high school diploma or equivalent is a plus.

• Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of dishwashing equipment operation and maintenance.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with kitchen staff.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and carry items for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
