$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Position summary

Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families.

There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. What you’ll do
  • Be a Team Member:
    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
  • Be an Expert:
    Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution.
  • Be a Techie:
    Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for production, training, and product quality decisions with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
  • Be an Owner:
    Drive area performance; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control; eliminate waste; guide peers and assist customers per company policies.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador:
    Model high-quality service and products; energize the team with commitment and passion for the work.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement action plans and apply Open Door Policy.
  • Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances (e.g., schedule, facility, season, or work performed).
