Retail Sales – Part Time at Lowe's Companies, Inc.

As a Customer Service Associate you’ll provide friendly and professional service, helping customers locate and select products while supporting various store departments. This part‑time role contributes to a positive shopping experience for home‑improvement customers.

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver exceptional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down‑stock merchandise by emptying shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately.
• Cross‑train in other store areas as needed.
• Prepare merchandise in your department (e.g., tinting and mixing paint, cutting pipe, bundling wood, cutting drywall and blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

• Six months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, or outputting information).
• Six months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods and perform necessary job activities.
• Can lift 25 lbs unassisted or 25 lbs with or without accommodations.

• Six months of retail and/or customer service experience.
• Bi‑lingual skills.
• Certification in a trade related to one of the store departments (e.g., hardware, plumbing, electrical).

Travel is not required regularly, though occasional trips may be necessary for meetings, training, or supporting neighboring stores. Environmental factors vary by location and may include extreme heat or cold, wet or damp conditions, and varying noise levels. Lifting guidelines recommend limiting single lifts to 75 lbs and using team lifts when needed.

Starting rate of pay may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience.
