Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To ensure that the District’s fixed assets are properly identified, tagged, recorded and accounted for in the District’s records. The Property Inventory Specialist inputs inventory information into the inventory system and keeps up with messages on inventory questions. Conduct yearly inventory audits. To ensure that the warehouses are clean, sorted and organized. Conduct transfers for departments. Dispose of damaged asses and scrap metal as approved by management.
CharacteristicDuties and Responsibilities

Required:- High School Graduate or GED equivalency diploma
- Two year’s experience in an inventory related field.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License.
- Associates Degree.
- Two year’s management experience in warehouse inventory.
- Forklift Operator.
- Be skilled in the use of personal computer with working knowledge of the Banner Administrative Operating System with emphasis on the Fixed Asset Module, Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Be able to maintain a positive attitude toward college departments, students and employees. Perform assignments with a high degree of accuracy and adhere to deadlines.

Supervision ReceivedThe property Inventory Specialist is directly responsible to the Property Inventory Manager.
Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Work EnvironmentWork is performed in a standard office environment. Work inside a well-lighted and air-conditioned area most of the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
