New Beginnings Preschool & Daycare in Largo, FL is seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Preschool Teacher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a preschool setting and be able to create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote each child’s development while maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. This role also includes following all preschool licensing policies and procedures, keeping the classroom clean and organized, and fostering a positive, collaborative atmosphere with colleagues and staff.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and previous experience working in a child care or preschool setting. Completion of the DCF 40-Hour Child Care Training is required within 90 days of hire, and applicants should include a copy of their DCF transcript when applying. A Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) is preferred or should be in progress.

Applicants should have a strong understanding of early childhood development, with First Aid/CPR certification preferred. A Level 2 background screening is required. Most importantly, candidates should have a genuine love for children and a positive, team-oriented attitude!
