Instructional Staff Developer – Middle School Science
Pinellas County Schools is seeking an Instructional Staff Developer to support curriculum and professional development in Middle School Science.
Job Type: Full‑time
Reports to: Director
Contact: Stephanie Hornick (hornicks)
Hours: 7.5 per day (8:30‑4:00)
Salary: Refer to the teachers’ salary schedule for details.
Responsibilities:
- Develop curriculum and assessment materials to enhance student achievement in Science and to implement innovative learning experiences in Middle School classrooms.
- Coach and support students and teachers in the classroom on a daily basis.
- Deliver quality professional development related to innovative experiences, critical content, and subject‑area pedagogical practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (specific requirements are detailed in the full job description).
- Entry‑level seniority.
- Full‑time commitment.
- Experience or interest in science instruction and instructional design preferred (not listed but implied).
