MRI Technologist - PRN/Per Diem
Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist to provide magnetic resonance imaging services to patients in a compassionate and respectful manner. Under the direction of a radiologist:
- You will demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of MRI and associated equipment and obtain high-quality MR images ensuring optimal films for interpretation.
- You will facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast material.
- You will prepare, transfer and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safety, and safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices as indicated.
- You will document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
- You will maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues, including the radiologist.
- You will check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination and keep the room stocked with necessary supplies.
- You will accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care.
- 2 year/Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
- Valid ARRT registry
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
