We are currently seeking a Infusion Pharmacy Reimbursement Specialist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community.

Infusion Pharmacy Reimbursement Specialist , under the immediate oversight of the Pharmacist, responsibilities include:

• Responsible for creating and confirming work orders and invoices.
• Convert dispensed doses to correct HCPC codes units for billing, verifies and ensures correct NDC numbers and quantities are utilized for billing.
• Verify patient eligibility for Medicare billing for drugs, requests authorization based on HCPC units for each drug and tracks delivery tickets.
• Responsible for cost and AWP updates and addition for new drugs in the system with correct HCPC codes and units.
• Responsible for processing credit card payments and assists in tracking of equipment.

Required

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent GED
• 3 years of Infusion Billing
• In-depth knowledge of coverage issues with respect to different payor sources.
• Able to negotiate charges for indigent, private pay etc.
• Able to work closely with billing department to answer questions and verify insurance as requested.

Preferred

Qualifications:

• 2 years - Insurance Verification
