We are looking for a Manager of Central Sterile Processing for our HCA Florida Largo Hospital team. In this role, you will provide leadership for the daily operations of the SPD Department, ensuring the maintenance and quality of sterilization procedures and accurate record keeping.

Your actions will assure adequate instrumentation functionality and availability for surgical services and other areas of the hospital.

• Model responsibility and accountability.
• Provide instruction and direction to the team.
• Handle upset customers and communicate with other departments as needed.
• Perform quality control and continually evaluate work processes and productivity.
• Ensure clear communications to the team, clarifying roles and responsibilities of team members.
• Assess and suggest procedural changes to help attain departmental goals.
• Involve the team in decisions and actions.
• Assist the Director in maintaining and monitoring the budget.

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 3‑5 years of experience in SPD (Sterile Processing Distribution), 2‑3 years as Sterile Processing Supervisor or above.
• Current CS/SPD certification with either the CBSSPD or the IAHCSMM.
• Must be able to lift or carry 50 pounds.
