The Occupational Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of occupational therapeutic care of an assigned group of patients, in coordination with the physician and the patient care team. The Occupational Therapist completes patient assessments, and participates in developing and implementing individualized care plans, focusing on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive patient experience. The Occupational Therapist provides or directs a majority of the patient’s physical therapy to support patients throughout home health and the continuum of care.

We are currently looking for an ambitious Occupational Therapist to join our team. As our Therapist, you will be a skilled member of the health care team and provide therapeutic services to patients using initial assessments, therapeutic procedures and interventions in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the hospital and applicable law. • You will treat disabilities, injuries and disease using therapeutic techniques according to prescriptions from a physician, perform testing and evaluation procedures on patients.
• You will record and document patient observation, treatment and changes in condition. You will also monitor, analyze and review clinical data. Also, you will reevaluate and modify treatment plans and goals based upon patient performance.
• You will communicate clearly and provide explanation of care in a way that can be easily understood by patients and their families. Also, ensure patient s family is informed of patient status.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy;
  Masters preferred.
• Experience in appropriate healthcare setting preferred.
• Current Florida Occupational Therapist license.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) through AHA (American Heart Association).
