Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician

• Perform sterile compounding and ensure compliance with all FDA, DEA, Florida Board of Pharmacy, OSHA and other regulatory and accrediting entities. Follows all company and department policies and procedures.
• Participates in medication management for pharmacy compounding, including medication, supplies, ordering, receiving and equipment maintenance.
• Responsible for completing and documenting all cleaning and monitoring activities identified for areas related to sterile compounding including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning requirements.
• Maintains ongoing didactic and practical training related to sterile compounding provided by the organization.
• Support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department.
• Efficient, accurate and timely preparation, compounding, labeling, and delivering of pharmaceuticals to assure patient satisfaction.
• Duties may also include, but not limited to: special assignments/projects, process validation and competency assessment.

• High School Graduate or Equivalent GED
• Required FL Registered Pharmacy Technician License
• Pharmacy Technician license in good standing in the state of Florida
• +1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
• Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT)
• Sterile Compounding experience USP
