Job SummaryThe Revenue Management Generalist position obtains and maintains client information within various data systems utilized to qualify persons for eligibility of Federal Financial Participation for Title IV-E, Medicaid, TANF and Adoption services. This position/department ensures that eligibility documentation is collected and maintained to maximize our use of federal and state funding; that Medicaid is opened and maintained for each foster care and adopted child;
that pertinent funding decisions following placement changes of children in out-of-home care is accurate.
- Monitor multiple reports for new eligibility writing and redeterminations of federal funding eligibility.
- Research various electronic state/federal database systems to capture potential income for parent(s) and enter said information into the electronic IV-E application in Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN).
- Apply for and redetermine Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) applications.
- Enter all forms of Title IV-E/Medicaid eligibility data in FSFN for pending adoptions.
- Open, close and trouble shoot applications for Medicaid insurance for children in care in FSFN.
- Verify Medicaid in Florida Medicaid Management Information System (FLMMIS).
- Complete Title IV-E Redeterminations for eligibility changes and yearly redeterminations.
- Electronically upload and file all pertinent eligibility documents applicable for foster care and adoption.
- Attend in person, phone, and virtual trainings for FSS Suncoast and DCF as required.
- Maintain adoption file case load and process pre-and-post adoption files and 5146.
- Ensure that eligibility in all automated systems matches funding eligibility determination uploaded.
- Complete notification to ESS/Child in Care (CIC) regarding status/eligibility changes.
- Ongoing written and/or verbal contact with Adoption organizations and Attorney offices.
- Participate in person, by phone and virtual trainings for FSS Suncoast and DCF as required.
- Participate in no less than monthly one-on-one supervisions meetings.
- Perform other duties.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Two years in a clerical, data management, data entry or related field. Preferred experience in federally funded entitlement programs, knowledge of foster care, relative caregivers, adoption, Medicaid and TANF systems.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration:
Valid drivers license.

- Experience with ACCESS, FSFN, FLMMIS, FLORIDA, CCIS and DEO helpful.
